We are looking for a hands-on Hardware & Field Engineer to join our team and actively contribute to the development and deployment of our robotic systems in real-world environments.
We’re a young and dynamic team, and your role will be broad and impactful – from developing new features and stress testing our robots to operating them in the field and training customers. You’ll work side by side with the founding team to shape our technology, company, and culture.

Responsibilities
In your field engineer role, your responsibilities are:
Field Testing: Conduct onsite tests and services to and collect feedback to improve reliability and usability. Debug systems and communicate technical input to the engineering team.
Provide training: Provide On-site customer support, conduct training sessions and assist with customer integration.
Documentation: Create test plans, verification procedures, document results and design validation reports.
Work Style: Strong motivation, organizational talent, and a “get things done” attitude. No fear of getting your hands dirty.
Travel regularly for deployments within Switzerland and internationally.
And in your hardware engineer role, you have the following responsibilities:
Prototyping & Validation: Build and test mechanical prototypes to evaluate performance, durability, and reliability.
Design & Analysis: Develop 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation.
Collaboration: Actively participate in design reviews, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Research & Feasibility: Conduct research and feasibility studies on new materials, manufacturing methods, and mechanical technologies.
Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation.
Requirements & Qualifications
Mechanical Experience: You are practical and know how to work with different machines and tools like a drill press, dremel, 3D-printer, angle grinder and similar.
Technical Experience: You bring proven, hands-on experience in building, testing, and debugging complex hardware systems, including strong proficiency with 3D CAD and mechanical assembly.
Education: You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
Working style: You possess excellent problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, goal-oriented working attitude. You are a motivated self-starter who works comfortably both independently and in small teams, and you are willing to take responsibility for your work.
Communication: You are fluent in English (written and spoken). German is a strong plus. Strong social skills to navigate complex situations with customers, partners and other stakeholders and maintain trusted relationships.
Field Experience: You have experience of working on construction sites or similar. Experience with robotic systems, testing, or technical field operations.
Valid driver’s license.
Great to have
Prototyping and problem-solving experience
Comfortable working with hardware (e.g. soldering, sensor integration, mechanical prototyping).
Startup or project-based work experience in robotics or related fields.
