Devon Karpak comes to Otter Valley with a background in construction, wood working, welding, fabrication, science and career and technology education. He spent years in the field building gasification plants, industrial dock systems and awnings as well as working on cars, remodeling houses and doing general contracting work.

Before teaching at Otter Valley, Devon was the Interim Program Manager at Addison Central Teens in Middlebury, the Mechanics/Welding Instructor at at Missisquoi Valley Union High School in Swanton, Forestry and Natural Resources Instructor at Randolph Technical Career Center and the Farm Manager at the Hannaford Career Center in Middlebury.

Devon believes that Tech Ed and Career and Tech Ed is about helping youth find their passions and to link that to future educational opportunities, apprenticeships and work opportunities during and after high school.
