Our games are determined by NASEF and PlayVS's main tournament seasons as well as support from Roseville Joint Union High School District's awesome tech support team and school policies. We are currently focusing on:
Six heroes attempt to control strategic locations as well as escort payloads across a variety of maps. Teams coordinate their Support, Damage, and Tank characters closely. The game was published in 2016, currently has more than 40 million active players, and a rapidly developing pro and collegiate scene. We are still waiting for approval and tech support to enable on-campus play.
In Fall 2018, we placed 5th out of 46 teams nationwide.
Five champions on each team face off on a map called Summoner's Rift. They try to gain experience and gold while pushing the tide of battle towards their opponent's base -destroying which is the victory condition. The game was published in 2010, has more than 100 million active players, and is the most-watched game on Youtube and Twitch.
In Spring 2019, we placed 43rd out of 63 teams competing in the Western Bracket.
Three players per team play fast-paced aerial indoor soccer using rocket-powered cars. This is our most accessible game, as it is now free-to-play and cross-platform (PC, Xbox, PS4, Nintendo Switch).
Matches are typically very short and intense. The game was published in 2015 and since its transition to free-to-play often has more than 500,000 players logged in simultaneously as well as strong college and professional leagues.
Teams of three compete in a series of three 1v1 duels where cartoon characters employ all the fundamentals of a classic fighting game to defeat their opponent and smash them off the floating battleground.
Spacing, blocks, grabs, quick attacks, smash attacks, and incredible timing make what appears to be a simple game have an incredibly high skill ceiling.
This and Rocket League both have the most continuity from nascent elementary school esports leagues all the way through pro play.
