Allison Barkley, Samantha Ryea, and Jessika Herron are holding their acceptance letters to the STEM Leadership trip that will take place in April, 2019. They will travel to Disney World and the Kennedy Space Center with other students and staff from the Johnson Upward Bound Program to learn about authentic STEM experiences, plus they'll get to have lunch with an astronaut. Cassandra Greenwood, a student at Richford High School, has been named a Semifinalist for the 2019 class of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. 1,896 high school seniors were selected as Semifinalists from a pool of 95,715 applications from across the country based on their academic excellence, leadership and service demonstrated in school and community activities. The Semifinalists are in the running for 150 college scholarships worth $20,000.
Nicole Cunningham will be represent RHS at the Hugh O'Brien Leadership Conference at Saint Michael's College in May. HOBY is a leadership conference specifically for 10th graders from all around the state. Congratulations, Nicole!!
