Making robots since 2014...
ABOUT OUR TEAM
The RoboJackets, a FIRST Robotics team from Auburn Hills, Michigan, are a dedicated group of high school students who are passionate about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. Our goal is to use the exciting and challenging field of competitive youth robotics as a platform for developing the attributes, behaviors, and character traits that are essential for success in any field. Through the design, construction, and operation of robots, RoboJackets learn valuable skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and technical expertise. They also develop the leadership skills, confidence, and perseverance necessary for success in any endeavor. The RoboJackets are committed to excellence and to using their passion for robotics to inspire others to pursue STEM careers.
FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a non-profit organization that aims to inspire young people to be interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through its various programs. The organization was founded in 1989 by inventor Dean Kamen, with the goal of getting students excited about STEM education and careers through a mentor-based teaching system.
