Back Stairwell & Attic

When the Joneses moved in, with a larger contingent of staff and extended family, the back stairway was added. This hallway contains a maid's closet and the door to the attic. 

Eleven rooms serving as bedrooms, bath and storage areas comprise the attic. As many as six live-in staff were in service during the Jones residence. Amelia Jones’s nieces and nephews remembered the attic as an additional childhood play space when they were visiting.
