A Sixth Form College is an educational institution where students aged 16 to 19 study for advanced qualifications like A-Levels, T-Levels, and BTECs
Curriculum: Focuses heavily on Level 3 academic and technical courses designed to prepare students for university or employment, typically over a two-year period in sixth form or college. A - levels, Students usually choose three or four subjects to study in depth, rather than a broad range of classes. They serve as the primary pre-university qualification, and results convert into UCAS points used for higher education entry. You should check with the school or college where you’d like to study to find out exactly what you’ll need for your chosen courses. Some Sixth Form Colleges offer 1 year Level 2 courses which allows the opportunity to resit Maths and English GCSE.
