Meet the Teacher

Hi! My name is Mrs. Elwell and I am looking forward to our year together! Riverton School and this community has been a part of my life since I was little. My dad graduated from Riverton School himself and grew up here, so I have so many fond memories of trick-or-treating in Riverton and participating in all of the 4th of July festivities!

I actually grew up in Mount Laurel and I live in Marlton now. I graduated from West Chester University for my undergraduate courses with a major in Early Grades Education and a minor in literacy. I completed my Master's program at Rider University. I did a dual program in educational leadership and literacy. I now have a Supervisor's and Reading Specialist certification.

Your students will quickly learn that I LOVE the beach, I spend a lot of time with my family, coloring makes me happy, and I'm a big Disney fan. Building our classroom community to be a "family" is something I start from the very beginning. I look forward to all of us becoming a unit this upcoming school year.
