Application Process

1. Requirements

a. Instrumentation
b. Commitment to rehearsal and performance schedules
c. Audition scales performed as close to tempo as possible without sacrificing tone, accuracy of rhythm, pitch, and musicality (dynamics, articulation, etc.)

2. Application

Submit an application: Instrument, school, grade, preferred name, preferred pronouns, best phone number/email to reach you, emergency contact name/relationship/number, regular weekly evening conflicts, known unavailable dates, t-shirt size, and anything else you feel we should know. 

3. Audition Video

Record a video of yourself performing the assigned scales or rhythm exercises for your instrument(s). Your RUSD student email account will receive a google upload folder with your name and instrument for you to upload a video. Please allow enough time for the video to upload and double check that it's there. Contact skalnin@riversideunified.org if you have any questions.
