Dacy Nottingham has a degree in Applied Management and has been a business owner in Riverside since 1994. After many years of working in the video production and photography industries, Dacy started teaching at Ramona High School in 2017. He loves to share the knowledge that he's gained over the years with the next generation.

Culinary Arts & Services

International Business

Mr. Sutphen is the Culinary Foundations 1, Culinary Foundations 2, and Art of Food teacher at Ramona High School. Iearned a B.S. degree from Arizona State University in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems. His career experience encompasses 30+ years of working in the restaurant, hospitality, foodservice, and IT industries, and in the Business-world working for numerous catering, foodservice and photography entrepreneurs in helping them move their businesses forward towards success. He has experience in many areas such as working as a caterer, cook, assistant chef, and server, as well as working as an IT technician installing automated food-ordering computer systems at restaurants, hotels, and healthcare facilities all across the U.S. In addition, he has 35+ years of experience of perfecting my culinary skills in the kitchen, mastering cooking foods of multi-ethnical cultures and cuisines, mainly centered on healthy eating habits and cooking styles.

Erika Zuvia has been a teacher for over 15 years and is currently the Health Careers Academy Coordinator and HOSA Advisor. Prior to teaching she was an Emergency Medical Technician on an ambulance and in an emergency room. She brings her wealth of knowledge and experience into the classroom and has extremely high expectations for her students.

Phillip Zuvia has been a Firefighter II/Paramedic for over 17 years and is currently the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) instructor at Ramona High School. He is passionate about teaching students the necessary skills to become an EMT and instilling the professionalism required as a pre-hospital medical provider.
