Open Lightroom Classic
Insert your SD card (or if you've already inserted it, click the "Import" button on the library tab)
The Source area is on the left-hand side of the Import window.
Lightroom should automatically load your SD card as your source.
If it doesn't or you clicked the "Import" button yourself, you'll need to select the SD card by opening EOS_Digital and then selecting DCIM
In the center section of the Import window "Cull" your images by selecting the photos you want to import or deselecting the ones that you don't want to import.

The first time you import images, you'll need to select the folder that you want to save your imported images in. You do that by clicking on the heading of the right-hand side of the import window where it has an image of a hard drive. The folder you should import to should be Desktop > YourName > Lightroom
It should remember the location where you picked last time. As long as you don't change it, it should always go in the same folder. You can check by looking at the location address in the heading.
Check the "Into Subfolder" option in the Destination area.
Pick a folder name for this group of photos. Usually it's the name of the project you are working on.
