Students Requesting MLKHS Engineering Transfer
STUDENT AND PROGRAM CONTRACT:
Students who are accepted to the PLTW Program must commit to taking four years of engineering classes and/or completing a PLTW Pathway. If you attend MLKHS on an engineering transfer, and you drop from the program at any time for any reason, you will be required to go back to your home school. If approved, the student commits to "C" or better in the coursework.
INTRA DISTRICT TRANSFER:
If you do not live in the MLKHS attendance area but are a student living in the RUSD school boundaries, click the button to get more information about joining the Engineering Program.
INTER DISTRICT TRANSFER
Option 1: If you are not an RUSD student but would like more information on how to join the Engineering Program at Martin Luther King High School, please click the button. This type of transfer requires the release from the current district and transcripts. When their district of residence signs and approves the release, parents are responsible for submitting the paperwork to RUSD Pupil Services.
DISTRICT OF CHOICE
Option 2: If you are currently on a District of Choice Transfer, please complete the form by selecting the button on the right. This form is for individuals who transferred to the district during elementary or Middle school. Attach a copy of the approved District of Choice for verification purposes.
