A lottery, if needed, will take place on Monday, December 11, 2023.
Students Requesting MLKHS Engineering
If you do NOT live in the MLKHS attendance area, but you are a student living in the RUSD school boundaries click the button to get more information about joining the Engineering Program.
Option 1: If you are not an RUSD student but would like more information on how to join the Engineering Program at Martin Luther King High School please click the button.
Option 2: If you are currently on a District of Choice Transfer, please complete the form by selecting the button on the right.
Student & Program Contract
Students who are accepted to the PLTW Program must commit to taking four years of engineering classes and/or completing a PLTW Pathway. If you attend MLKHS on an engineering transfer, and you drop from the program at any time for any reason, you will be required to go back to your home school.
