In 2012, film makers Brandon Krajewski and Michelle Opitz contacted King High Remembers with the thought of making a documentary on the program.

The film was ultimately produced and won "Best Documentary Short" in the 2014 Amsterdam Film Festival and was an official selection of the Riverside Film Festival
