Courtney Temple has been on the ML King High School teaching staff since 2004. 

As Operations Director of King High School Remembers, Courtney's ability to organize, plan and carry through on ideas and events has been key in continuing the tradition and culture of King High’s signature event. Temple was instrumental in helping to maintain the program through our COVID challenges and keeping things afloat.

In addition to her KHSR duties, Temple teaches Government and Economics; is the Social Science Department Chair and is Senior Class advisor where she annually shares duties in planning graduation ceremonies. She originally came on board the King staff as the coach and advisor of the Dance Team.

She was selected the Martin Luther King High School Teacher of the Year in 2023.

She and her husband Jason have been married since 2011 and they have 3 children.
