During the AVID Sophomore year, students begin to build on the foundations they created during their freshman year in AVID. AVID Sophomores work on their collaboration and communication skills throughout the year, learning what it means to excersise your voice as a college student.

During the AVID Freshman year, students learn about themselves, each other, and what it means to be a college-going student. Many of our AVID Freshman have never been in AVID, so they must learn the basic stuctures and processes. AVID Freshman begin to work on their collaboration and communication skills.
