School Counselors along with key stakeholders of Chemawa Middle School are dedicated to working together and building a supportive, inclusive and safe environment that empowers learners with academic, career and personal/social skills, confidence, and respect for individual differences so that all students positively impact their community.
The Chemawa Middle School Counseling Department Vision Statement
The students at Chemawa Middle School are culturally responsible contributing members of their community with a productive mindset, resiliency and a strong sense of self and others, well prepared to meet the challenges and high expectations of the 21st century. All students participate in a comprehensive high-quality academic, college and career and social/emotional school counseling curriculum to develop the necessary skills to successfully transition to high school, participate in post secondary education, and be career ready. As successful, life-long learners and productive citizens, our students achieve their fullest potential, making a positive difference in our school and community.

Visit the Academic Room for tips on staying motivated, tutoring resources and links to important sites. The Wellness Center is filled with activities and support to keep you sane and grounded. The College and Career Room has important information to keep you focused on your future and take you on college trips around the country. Take your time and come back often.
