Architectural control and review is the responsibility of the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). The ARC has been granted the full power of the Board of Directors in relation to the exterior of structures, construction of new structures, approval of plans, and issuing violations. The ARC is in place to protect all owners in the River Landing at Old Hickory Subdivision. Currently, there are five appointed members of the ARC which include Angela Sloan, Craig Sloan (Chairman), Darryl Nevels, Linda Blanco, and Sue Cortez.

Some of the restrictions for River Landing Old Hickory

• Only single family homes are permitted in the subdivision
• Minimum square footage requirements are 1,800 square feet of living space for a one story home and 2,400 square foot of living space for a two story home
• All homes are required to be 80% brick
• All mailboxes are required to be 100% brick
• There is a 20 foot setback on the front and rear of the structure and a 5 foot setback on each side on the structure
• A two car attached garage is required to be installed along with a two car concrete driveway
• Landscaping is required to include grass, flowers, bushes, shrubs, etc., along with a minimum of two (2) trees planted on the lot

In order to begin construction, renovation, or alterations you must submit an application PRIOR to commencing work. Applications will include a cover letter that explains the process and the requirements. Applications will not be considered until all information is received by the ARC.
