About Ms. Garcia

Hi Everyone!

To introduce myself, I'm Ms. Garcia. This is my second year with RiTechA and I am so excited to be your ELA and Social Studies teacher!

A little bit about me... I grew up in Dublin, California. I attended Dublin High School where I played volleyball and softball. I was also very involved in leadership/student government from 8th grade to 12th grade. After graduating high school, I attended Saint Mary's College of California where I received my Bachelors in History, single subject teaching credential and Masters in Education. Before RiTechA, I taught high school for three years and 8th grade for one year. I have taught every grade from 8th grade to 12th. I have experience teaching History, Religion, English and Contemporary Health. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. My family includes my parents, one older brother and one younger brother. I have bichon poodle named Jojo. I am a big foodie; my favorites include hotpot, sushi and pasta! I enjoy camping, traveling and being outdoors. I would consider myself pretty creative and love when I have the opportunity to be spirited! I LOVE POKEMON!!!!
