Throughout the summer, our Curriculum Team met with teams of teachers to review our curriculum and identify areas where elements of equity, diversity, and inclusion are, or could be infused. Together, an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Book List by grade level was developed. In addition, activities and discussion topics were created to support the integration of equity, diversity, and inclusion at the appropriate developmental levels. Included below, are links to our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Book List, as well as our activities by grade level.
Please note that there is not a stand-alone instructional period for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion; these topics will be integrated in various content areas (i.e. Reading, Math, Social Studies, Health, etc.).
