Your child will be participating in the "Everyday Mathematics" program.  The Everyday Math program uses a number of hands on activities to help demonstrate concepts.  The children spend time exploring and seeing math come alive everyday! 

Most nights, except Friday, your child will have homework which correlates and provides on-going practice for the skills we worked on in class.  Please take time to read and assist your child with the Home Links each night.  The Home Link is to be returned to class the following school day.  

Prior to the beginning of a new unit you will be sent an overview.  Please read this overview and save it because it can help you as we progress through the unit.

Parents and children are also encouraged to play games/reprint HomeLinks/get details about in-class math lessons/etc on the Everyday Math/Connect Ed website found in ClassLink.
