About Me

My name is Torrie Fox, and I am thrilled to be the new K-8 art teacher here at Riverdale Grade School! This is my fourth year teaching art. Prior to that, I worked in museums and galleries. I received my undergraduate degree in Photography and Art History at New York University, and my masters in Art Education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. My personal art making practice is based in photography and metals, as well as graphic design. In my spare time, I love to hike, cook, and play with my Staffordshire bull terrier, Penny!

I am SO excited to be joining the Riverdale family, and I can’t wait to make beautiful art with all of you!
