Identifying the Challenge
Identifying the Challenge
Begin by identifying what is missing or lacking in the current scenario. What needs to happen that isn't happening, and what problems need to be solved?
Establishing Training Objectives
Determine individuals' specific actions and behaviors to achieve the training objectives. These objectives should represent measurable behaviors that directly address the identified business challenge.
Information Gathering
Collect the essential information required to facilitate the desired behaviors or training objectives. Distinguish between "need to know" and "nice to know" information, collaborating closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Any information categorized as "nice to know" can be incorporated into a supplementary job aid.
Designing Engaging Learning Activities
Develop captivating activities that allow individuals to practice the requisite behaviors effectively. These activities may encompass various formats, including online scenario-based courses, eLearning games, microlearning modules, interactive animated infographics, PDFs, and animated explainer videos.
Iterative Review Process
Create an initial working prototype for client review. Iterate on this prototype based on client feedback, continually refining the design until final approval.
Delivery
Provide the client with the finalized files, ready for upload onto their Learning Management System (LMS).
Evaluation
Conduct an evaluation of the solution's effectiveness. Assess whether workplace behaviors have evolved as desired, whether the training objectives have been met, and identify opportunities for further improvement if needed.
