This course module on the Greek Alphabet has been developed using Articulate Storyline, with the primary aim of reinforcing the significance of confidently recognizing and understanding the Greek alphabet, a fundamental aspect of Greek life. It was designed to inspire prospects, pledges, and new members of Greek life organizations to learn Greek Letters in fun and interactive ways. My strategy for this project is centered around clear communication, learner engagement, and effective knowledge retention.
Key Features:
Triggers: These are used to initiate actions based on learner interactions, making the content more dynamic.
Flip Cards: Providing a unique approach to presenting information, enhancing engagement and retention.
Drag and Drop: Enabling learners to explore content in an interactive and user-driven manner.
Scenarios: This included scenario-based exercises and questions to assess understanding and promote active learning.
In addition to the course module, the project also includes:
Storyboard: A detailed storyboard has been developed to visually represent the course module's progression. The storyboard is a blueprint for the content, ensuring a cohesive flow and alignment with the course's learning objectives.
Design Document: The design document outlined the visual style, color palette, typography, and other design elements used in the course. This document will ensure consistency and alignment with the client's branding.
Voice-Over Script: A document of all the voice-overs for the course
Additional supplemental learning elements for refreshers
The training was designed to equip caregivers with the knowledge, skills, and empathy necessary for providing high-quality safe care. Focused on clear communication, learner engagement, and effective knowledge retention while tailoring the content to the specific context of Dementia care safety.
Key Features:
Triggers: Adapt triggers to initiate actions that simulate real-life scenarios caregivers might encounter, such as responding to changes in behavior or communication challenges of those with Dementia.
Drag and Drop: Incorporate drag-and-drop exercises to match symptoms with appropriate care strategies or to identify stages of Dementia, making the learning process interactive and user-driven.
Scenarios: Include scenario-based exercises that mimic real-life situations caregivers may face, such as dealing with confusion, aggression, or wandering in individuals with Dementia. These scenarios will help assess understanding and promote active problem-solving.
Additional Components Tailored for Dementia Care Training:
Storyboard: Develop a detailed storyboard that visually represents the progression of the Dementia safety care training module. The storyboard will guide the development of content, ensuring it meets the specific learning objectives of understanding Dementia and effective caregiving strategies.
Design Document: The design document will outline the visual style, including a comforting and accessible color palette, clear typography, and relevant design elements that reflect the sensitivity of the subject matter and are aligned with healthcare best practices.
Voice-Over Script: Prepare a document containing all voice-overs for the course, ensuring the tone is empathetic, supportive, and informative, suitable for the context of Dementia care.
Supplemental Learning Elements: Provide additional resources for caregivers needing refreshers or a deeper understanding of certain topics, such as communication tips, stress management strategies for caregivers, and advanced care planning.
