Alḥamdulillah RISE Online is blessed with a unique opportunity to provide classes Qur’ān with so many teachers and classes that are small in number. As many of you are aware in the summer of 2020, we launched a Qur’ān training program for Qāidah Nūrāniyah. With the barakah of this training while most Islamic schools have 1 or maybe 2 Qur’ān teachers we have a team of 20 plus teachers that are here to support and help your students with their recitation. RISE Online uses the Qāidah Nūraniyah curriculum which is a system to help teach reading and tajweed for all ages. In addition to recitation classes we have memorization of Qur’ān, Mafaḥīm al-Qur’ān and Tafsīr of the Qur’ān for certain grades. Insha’Allāh as the years progress and with the partnership of our RISE Online families we can help our students rise in their connection with the Qur’ān

“The best among you are those who learn the Holy Quran & teach it.” – Prophet Muhammed (SAWS)
Br. Rizwan Ali
Br. Rizwan Ali completed his Postgraduate studies in Human Resource Management from the United Kingdom in 1996. He moved to the United States in 2007 and started his own business from scratch. His company, NUR Metals, is regarded as a well-known & reputable company in the recycling industry.
In 2013, a Masjid in Southern California was interested in starting a Sunday school. Br. Rizwan and his wife, Sr. Nausheen Mithani joined as a founding member of their administrative team. They discovered that the Quran department lacked a proper system. Unfortunately, they could not find much help due to a shortage of skilled Quran teachers’ availability.
While Br. Rizwan went for an Umrah trip in Dec 2016, he decided to take this message to the Prophet Mosque and pray for help. That’s where he discovered the Qaida Nuraniya system and the opportunity for him to learn. He completed the Qāiʾdah Nūrāniyah training under the Masjid-e-Nabavi program and received his Certification from Al Furqan Group in 2018.
Alhamdulillah, Br. Rizwan has taken this noble cause beyond SoCal Sunday school. He has established a Quran school, DAR AL NUR, which helps produce Quran teachers worldwide. By the end of 2020, they have 400+ students and have had over 75 adults go through the teacher training course.

This year she coordinated with SMC Quran competition, where 18 mosques participated from Southern California. Currently she is working in coordinating teachers’ training for Qāiʾdah Nūrāniyah and more than 65 teachers are learning to teach under the program from many different parts of the world.

Her background includes training on “How to teach Quranic Tajweed rules”. In addition to all this, she has composed a basic tajweed book that acts as a resource that we do not have in English speaking countries. Her professional experience includes conducting workshops for teachers between 2010 – 2015. Since then she has been teaching Qaida Noorania and Tajweed at her local mosques and online.
