The Journal of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence (JMAI) is a peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research at the interface of mathematics and artificial intelligence.
The journal welcomes contributions in pure and applied mathematics, as well as emerging areas where mathematical theory and AI interact, including symbolic computation, machine learning, and data-driven mathematical discovery.
The Journal of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence (JMAI), formerly the Albanian Journal of Mathematics (ISSN: 1930-1235), was founded in 2007. The change of name reflects the journal’s broadened scope and its interest in developments at the interface of mathematics and artificial intelligence.
JMAI is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing original research articles in pure and applied mathematics, as well as in areas where mathematical methods interact with artificial intelligence.
JMAI invites the submission of original research papers. Manuscripts may be submitted to any member of the editorial board. All submissions are subject to peer review; typically, three referees are consulted. The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
The Journal of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence publishes original research that advances mathematics and its interactions with artificial intelligence.
The journal welcomes contributions in core areas of pure and applied mathematics, including algebra, number theory, geometry, analysis, topology, combinatorics, and mathematical physics, as well as in computational and theoretical aspects of mathematics.
In addition, the journal seeks work that develops or applies mathematical methods in artificial intelligence, including (but not limited to) machine learning theory, symbolic and computational algebra, mathematical foundations of data science, and algorithmic aspects of intelligent systems.
Submissions are expected to meet high standards of rigor and originality. From time to time, the journal publishes special issues edited by invited guest editors. Proposals for special issues may be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief.
