CCPT is a form of counselling for children from ages: 2.5 years - 12 years* (*approx)
The Play Therapist is invited into the child’s world to communicate with them, helping them to understand and resolve psychological and psychosocial challenges.
These challenges can often occur through: trauma, grief through loss of a loved one, separation of parents, leaving the family home, a chronic/mental illness etc.
Through this ’safe’ process of play therapy children can express themselves, their experiences and feelings associated with the above to enable them to work through a natural and self healing process.
