Class parties-Christmas, Valentine's Day, End of the Year
Birthday parties- Please let me know in advance if you would like to bring in treats for your child's birthday and if you plan to come in the classroom or drop them off. I would also ask you to try to bring the same type of treat for all 25 students if possible. Allergies in the classroom- PEANUTS, GLUTEN, SOY, SHELLFISH. If your child has an allergy, you can provide several alternative treats that I can store in the class or they can choose a couple of treats from my drawer.
Water-Students need to bring their own water bottles each day. They can be filled at the fill station at school.
Absent work-Please notify the secretaries or email me by 12:00 if you would like to have homework sent to the office for your child. Students are given one extra day to make up the assignments for every day they were absent.
Independent Study- Absent for 3-14 consecutive days. You will need to fill out the paper work in advance in the office. Work will need to be turned in within 5 days of returning to school.
Aeries- Please make sure all emails and phone numbers associated with your child's account are updated.
Students must log into Google using their Google account provided by the district in order to access the curriculum we provide. The student username is their student ID followed by @riponusd.net.
Example: 62801234@riponusd.net
The default password for students who are logging in "parkview14".
We provide a program called Clever that helps students log into their various programs without having to provide a password for each system.
If your student has a school device, there should be a blue C in the upper right corner of the browser that when clicked will take the student to their dashboard with Icons for the various programs the student will use.
On a home device, the Clever Extension can be added to the Google Chrome browser. Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of your browser, next click more tools, then click extensions and add Clever extension to Google.
