This page guides you through the steps to apply for an SSS Salary Loan or SSS Calamity Loan - both available to qualified SSS members through your My.SSS account.
You may apply if you:
Are an active SSS member
Have paid at least 36 total contributions, with 6 posted in the last 12 months
Have no outstanding loan defaults
Have an active My.SSS account
Have enrolled a disbursement account via the SSS portal
My.SSS Account
Enrolled Bank account or UMID-ATM
Valid IDs (only if applying over-the-counter or via SSS branch - not needed for online application)
This loan is only available during officially declared calamity periods (e.g., typhoons, floods, earthquakes, pandemics). To apply, you must
Be an active SSS member residing in a declared calamity area
Have paid at least 36 total contributions, with 6 posted in the last 12 months
Have no outstanding loan defaults
Be able to provide proof of residence in the affected area (if required)
My.SSS Account
Enrolled Bank account or UMID-ATM
Proof of residence in the affected area (if required; i.e., utility bills, etc.)
Other requirements may vary depending on the calamity guidelines issued by SSS
Log in to your My.SSS account
Go to: E-Services > Apply for Calamity Loan (if available)
Complete and submit your application
Notify Acquire C&B for the certification of your loan
| Acquire Intellihub > Employee Services > Compensation & Benefits > Loans
Once certified, SSS will review and release the loan proceeds to your enrolled disbursement account
Submit your SOA (statement of account) to Acquire for payroll deduction

The SSS Loan Condonation Program allows members with overdue loans to settle their balance without paying the full penalty, making it easier to clear their accounts and restore good standing.
Launched on October 4, 2022, there is an active program ongoing and open to members with past-due loans as of June 30, 2025.
You may qualify if:
You have an unpaid SSS loan (e.g., Salary Loan, Calamity Loan)
Your loan has incurred penalties due to non-payment
You're not yet disqualified from the program (e.g., no final benefit claimed)
Log in to your My.SSS account
Go to: E-Services > Loan Condonation (if active)
View your total balance, waived penalties, and payment options
Select your preferred settlement mode (full or installment)
