The Association of Teachers of Mathematics in New England (ATMNE) is a consortium of regional sections from the six New England states. The purpose of ATMNE is to coordinate efforts of the Sections in order to facilitate increased interest in mathematics, to secure improvements in the teaching of mathematics, to establish close relations among teachers and users of mathematics, and to link organizations of mathematics teachers in New England into one cohesive association.
Each year a different member organization hosts the two-day ATMNE fall conference. Rhode Island Mathematics Teachers Association (RIMTA) is proud and excited to host the 2026 ATMNE Annual Conference and Meeting on October 22 and 23, 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, Rhode Island.
ATMNE 2026 will include sessions presented by national, regional and local speakers on various topics to support mathematics education. The conference keynotes will be presenting SLAM (Short, Lively, Actionable, and Memorable) presentations as well as full individual sessions. We will also have an extensive exhibit hall and exhibitor's workshops and plenty of opportunities to network and connect with amazing mathematics educators from around the region.
Schools and districts should consider using our group discount to send teams of teachers and administrators in order to take full advantage of this professional development opportunity.
