Rikkyo University International Student Tutoring System
◆ Please read carfully and follow the steps 1~3. ◆
STEP1 【International student’s academic advisor⇒ International student】
During the advising session, international students' academic advisors will ask whether international students want to apply for the tutoring system. If students want to use the system, they will be assigned a tutor by the academic advisors.

STEP2 【International student ⇒ Tutor】
International students will need to contact tutors and explain the tutor system by email etc. Please refer to this homepage (https://sites.google.com/rikkyo.ac.jp/tokugaitutor/) when explaining.
STEP3 【Tutor】
Tutors will read this website and the following documents and understand the tutor system.
Documents: Tutoring System Guidelines, Tutoring System Regulations(Japanese), Tutor Instruction Plan (Japanese), Tutoring Report (Japanese)
STEP4【Tutor ⇔ International student】
Tutors and international students will make an instruction plan on campus.
STEP5-1【Tutor ⇒ International student’s academic advisor】
Tutors will submit the designated Tutor Instruction Plan to the International student’s academic advisor upon obtaining international student's agreement.
STEP5-2【Tutor ⇒ The International Office】
Tutors will send the following documents to the International Office (NkokusaiC@rikkyo.ac.jp) via Rikkyo e-mail address.
②A Bank account transfer registration form
③A copy of a bankbook
STEP6【International student’s academic advisor ⇒International Center】
International student’s academic advisors will check the Tutor Instruction Plan. If there is no problem with the content, the academic advisor will sign the document and send it to the International Center (NkokusaiC@rikkyo.ac.jp).
STEP7【International Center ⇒ Tutor 】
After checking the documents (STEP5-2), the International Center will reply about the advisability of the plan. Students can start the tutor lesson after the tutor receives a reply from the International Office. If tutors do not receive any reply from the International Center within five days, tutors should send an e-mail to the office for confirmation (NkokusaiC@rikkyo.ac.jp).
When all lessons are over, tutors must submit the Tutoring Report to the International Center. (NkokusaiC@rikkyo.ac.jp).
Submission Deadline: Lessons from April to July ⇒ Friday, July 24, 2026
Lessons from September to December ⇒ Friday, January 29, 2027
After the International Center checks the Tutoring Report, Rikkyo University will transfer the remuneration to the tutor's designated bank account. Please be aware that Rikkyo University cannot pay the remuneration when the contents of the Tutoring report are not concrete.
