題目:Galaxy Survey Cosmology
概要:The 8.2m Subaru Telescope with its large aperture and prime-focus instruments — Hyper Suprime-Cam (HSC) and the Prime Focus Spectrograph (PFS) — has enabled Japan to establish “observational cosmology”, at a level similar to other major surveys worldwide. Whereas cosmological research in Japan had traditionally been dominated by theoretical research, this represents a remarkable achievement realized over the past decade. In this talk, I will introduce how galaxy surveys make it possible to explore fundamental physics, e.g., including inflation, dark matter, and dark energy.

題目:Two Cosmic Accelerations: Inflation and Dark Energy—What We Know, What We Don’t, and What’s Next
概要:I will discuss the two epochs of accelerated cosmic expansion—primordial inflation and today’s acceleration, often attributed to dark energy. I will highlight what is well established from observations, what remains uncertain, and the key assumptions behind the standard theoretical picture. This talk will conclude with a guided discussion of research directions that, I believe, could plausibly drive major progress in the field.

題目:Practical Quantum Gravity for Cosmologists
概要:In this lecture, I will discuss some aspects of quantum gravity that are of possible relevance for practitioners of cosmology, either directly or indirectly.
