留学生歓迎イベント International student welcome events
学期の始まりに、主に新入特別外国人学生を歓迎するためにいくつかのイベントを開催しました！「新座キャンパスに行ってみよう！」「新入留学生オンライン歓迎イベント」「秋国際交流歓迎会」「World to Rikkyo International Trivia and Talking」。In the beginning of the semester we held a few events mainly to welcome new exchange students. Includes 'Let's go to Niiza Campus!', 'International Student Online Welcome', 'Fall International Welcome Social', and 'World to Rikkyo International Trivia and Talking'. 

Country Festa! (11月27日、12月6日池袋、12月1日新座）(November 27 December 6 Ikebukuro, December 1 Niiza)
3日にわたり、ベトナム、中国、ウガンダ、カナダ、モザンビーク、トンガ出身の留学生がブース、発表、演奏を通して60名以上の立教生に出身国と文化を紹介しました！Over 3 days, international students from Vietnam, China, Uganda, Canada, Mozambique, and Tonga introduced their countries and cultures to over 60 Rikkyo students through booths, presentations, and performances! 

Language Lounge
毎月英語、朝鮮語、中国語で、立教生同士、司会なしで気軽に交流ができます。今学期約55名参加！その中、40名は英語、15名は朝鮮語か中国語で、そして41名は池袋で、9名は新座で、5名はオンラインで交流しました（2月と3月のオンラインイベントは含まれていません）。An event where Rikkyo students can talk with each other freely, with no conversation leader, in English, Korean, or Chinese every month. This semester 55 students joined! Among those, 40 talked in English, and 15 talked in Korean or Chinese, and 41 joined at Ikebukuro Campus, 9 at Niiza Campus, and 5 online. (Does not include February and March online events).  

ワールドカフェ World Cafe
サポーターと参加者が少人数で、様々な言語 (英語・中国語・朝鮮語・スペイン語・ドイツ語・フランス語・日本語) で気軽に交流できます。今学期233名参加！（池袋186名、新座47名）An event where participants talk casually in small groups with Supporters in various languages (English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, German, French, Japanese). This semester 233 students joined! (186 at Ikebukuro, 47 at Niiza). 

グローバルラウンジ国際交流クリスマスパーティー（12月12日、池袋）Global Lounge International Christmas Party (December 12, Ikebukuro)
合計約51の立教生（短期日本語プログラムの留学生18名、その他の留学生6名、国内学生27名）がグローバルラウンジでゲーム、お菓子、プレゼント交換を楽しみました。グローバルラウンジの学生スタッフの2人が企画と司会をしました。普段は新座キャンパスで開催しますが、今回は池袋でした。A total of 51 Rikkyo students (18 short-term Japanese language program students, 6 other international students, and 27 domestic students) enjoyed snacks, games, and present exchange planned by two of our Global Lounge Student Staff in the Global Lounge. Normally held on Niiza Campus, but this year was at Ikebukuro. 

クッキーハウスコンペ（12月20日、池袋）Gingerbread House Competition (December 20, Ikebukuro)
合計19の立教生（留学生9名、国内学生10名）がグローバルラウンジでクッキーハウスを作りました。このイベントはグローバルラウンジの学生スタッフが企画と当日の司会をしました。A total of 19 Rikkyo students (9 international students and 10 domestic students) enjoyed making gingerbread houses. This event was planned and run by Global Lounge Student Staff. 

Discussion Cafe （12月19日、池袋、12月20日, 新座）（December 19, Ikebukuro, December 20, Niiza)
二つのイベントに渡り4名の留学生と8名の国内学生が2名の日本人学生に提案していただいたテーマ（勘違いしやすい日本語表現は何ですか？と海外留学はするべきだろうか？)について英語でディスカッションを行いました。Across two events, 4 international students and 8 domestic students discussed topics in English chosen by two Japanese students. The first day was ''勘違いしやすい日本語表現は何ですか？ '' and the second day was ''Should I study abroad? ''

日本語短期プログラムの学生と交流（12月と1月、新座）Social events for short-term Japanese language program students (December and January, Niiza)
合計約65名オーストラリア、オランダ、アメリカ、韓国、ニュージーランドの大学出身の短期日本語プログラムの留学生が立教生と交流しました。12月は折り紙だるま、日本語カフェ、坊主めくり、1月はテニス、伝統的な遊び、日本語カフェ、日本舞踊のイベント。In total around 65 short-term Japanese language program students from universities in Australia, Netherlands, USA, South Korea, and New Zealand and Rikkyo students enjoyed the following events: Origami Daruma, Japanese Cafe, Bouzu Mekuri in December, and tennis, traditional games, Japanese Cafe, and Japanese dance in January. 

Sumo Tournament Tour 相撲トーナメントツアー（2月11日 February 11）
7名の国際交流ボランティアと16名の留学生が両国でちゃんこ鍋を食べてから大相撲トーナメントを観に行きました。7 Japanese student volunteers and 16 international students had Chanko Nabe lunch and then went to see a Sumo tournament in the Sumo town of Ryogoku. 

グローバルラウンジ国際交流
Global Lounge International Welcome Weeks
4月はグローバルラウンジ国際交流 Welcome Weeksを開催しました。新入生を歓迎するためにたくさんの留学生と国内学生が集まってくれました！In April we had Global Lounge Welcome Weeks. International and domestic students all gathered to welcome new students this semester. 

Country Festa! (6月26日新座、6月30日池袋）(June 26 Niiza, June 30 Ikebukuro)
2日にわたり、カンボジア、ホンジュラス、コートジボワール、ペルー、中国、ベトナム、米国出身の留学生が60名以上の立教生に出身国と文化を紹介しました！Over 2 days, international students from Honduras, Cambodia, Ivory Coast, Peru, China, Vietnam, and the US introduced their countries and cultures to over 60 Rikkyo students!

This semester 247 students joined! (174 at Ikebukuro, 73 at Niiza). 

Language Lounge
毎月英語、朝鮮語、中国語で、立教生同士、司会なしで気軽に交流ができます。今学期約324名参加！その中、272名は英語、52名は朝鮮語か中国語で、そして249名は池袋で、75名は新座で交流しました。An event where Rikkyo students can talk with each other freely, with no conversation leader, in English, Korean, or Chinese every month. This semester 324 students joined! Among those, 272 talked in English, and 52 talked in Korean or Chinese, and 249 joined at Ikebukuro and 75 at Niiza Campus. 

Discussion Cafe （7月3日、7月10日, 池袋）（July 3 and 10, Ikebukuro)
二つのイベントに渡り4名の留学生と8名の国内学生が2名の日本人学生に提案していただいたテーマ（How do you learn foreign languages?とSecondary education in Japan vs overseas)について英語でディスカッションを行いました。Across two events, 4 international students and 9 domestic students discussed topics in English chosen by two Japanese students. The first day was ''How do you learn foreign languages?'' and the second day was ''Secondary education in Japan vs overseas.''

日本文化紹介＋国際交流（6月29日、池袋）
Japanese Culture Presentation + Social Event (Jun 29, Ikebukuro)
Theme: Message from the Mountains
国内学生のボランティアが日本の山について発表をしたあと、4名の留学生と8名の国内学生が小グループで交流しました。A Japanese student presented about mountains and mountain culture in Japan, and then 4 international students and 8 domestic students talked with each other in small groups. 

Meetup in the Global Lounge（7月17日、池袋）(July 17, Ikebukuro)
5名の留学生と11名の国内学生がグローバルラウンジでお菓子を共有しながらゲーム（ウノ、ジェンガ、トランプ）を楽しみました。学生スタッフが企画しました。5 international students and 11 domestic students shared snacks and played games (Uno, Jenga, cards) in the Global Lounge. This event was planned by Student Staff. 

Japan From International Student Perspectives（7月13日、池袋）(July 13, Ikebukuro)
4名アメリカ、イギリスとフランスの留学生が自身の日本での経験について発表をしたあと、16名の他の立教生と二つのグループで話して意見交換をしました。4 international students from the UK, France, and US gave presentations about their unique experiences in Japan, then in two groups talked and exchanged opinions with 16 other Rikkyo students. 

St. Cloud State University students visit Rikkyo （4月28日、池袋）
アメリカのSt Cloud大学の学生たちが立教を訪問し、6名アメリカ人の学生たちが12名の立教生とグローバルラウンジで交流し、キャンパスツアーに行きました。Students from St. Cloud State University visited Rikkyo, and 6 American students and 12 Rikkyo students enjoyed talking and a campus tour together. 

Texas State University students visit Rikkyo（6月10日、池袋）
アメリカのテキサス州立大学の学生たちが立教を訪問し、14名アメリカ人の学生たちが10名の立教生とグローバルラウンジで交流し、キャンパスツアーに行き、一緒に昼ご飯を食べました。Students from Texas State University visited Rikkyo, and 14 American students and 10 Rikkyo students enjoyed talking, a campus tour, and lunch together.
