Students who participated in at least one individual competition, were eligible for our contest, and have no unexcused absences from performances earn the reward trip to Main Event in Waco on May 14! Permission slips will be out for this event following the May 7 Solo and Ensemble contest.
Students who signed up for the Riesel Solo and Ensemble contest should remain at school on the day of the contest until they have played for their judge. Times will be early after school, and will be announced in the weeks before the contest. This counts as an individual contest toward the reward trip!

Remember you need to be able to recognize all of them from hearing them, and spell the name of the piece, composer, and major work. Use your study guides! Listen for distingushing characteristics and narrow down your choices. Are you hearing voices? Instruments? What kind? Piano? Orchestra? Be listening over the break and we will meet Wednesday during tribe when we get back.
