For over twenty years, Riesel Bands have hosted the Riesel Solo and Ensemble contest. This contest is perfect for your younger players as well as musicians preparing for State Solo and Ensemble. Friday, February 27 and Friday, May 1 are our 2026 dates. Entry deadlines are Friday, February 6 for the winter date and Friday, April 10 for the spring date.
Entry fees per person depend on the award you want your kids to receive. Entry fee is $8 and includes a medal for each 1st division.
