3rd Grade Teacher
I started at RES in the fall of 2020 as a substitute for Ms. T's 5th grade class and have had the privilege of staying on as an upper elementary teacher.
I am a Colorado native with roots in this area and the Colorado/ Wyoming border area. Which lent itself to me spending the greater poriton of my youth growing up in Wyoming.
My teaching background is in teaching STEM programming for the local non-profit organization, the Pinhead Institute. Prior to that I worked at the Telluride Mountain School Montesorri as a teacher assistant. In addtion to my teaching experience I have worked in nanoscience undergraduate outreach programs, teaching and research biological collections, biological monitoring, marine mammal rehabilitation and retail sales.
When I am not at school you can find me out fishing, hiking, camping, hunting, traveling to help my family with the ranch or at home with my dog, Chama (named after a clam genus), chickens, cat or fish!
