Class Periods: 3rd
This class will focus on “true” world history looking at events in Europe, Latin America, Africa, Middle East & Asia from each of the time periods. Each of the 5 units will offer opportunities for students to grow their understanding of world history and provide them with a global perspective & help students develop social studies skills through inquiry-based tasks that engage students in the process of exploring compelling historical questions through the analysis of multiple sources & various types.

Survey course that emphasizes the foundations of American Government with an overview of the legislative, executive and judicial branches of the federal government. Emphasizes American foreign policy and/or international issues facing Americans in the 21st century.
