Welcome to the 2024-2025 academic year!
My name is Jerod Crowley and I work as a social studies teacher at Ridgefield High School. This year will mark my third year at RHS and I am proud to wear the blue and orange.
Before coming to Ridgefield in 2022, I worked in the Evergreen, Vancouver, Gresham-Barlow, and Central Valley (Spokane, WA) School Districts. While in these districts I worked as a social studies/history and special education teacher. These assignments focused on providing high-quality instruction in various social studies, English/language arts, and math classes.
Originally from Spokane, WA, I graduated from Eastern Washington University ('03) with a bachelor's degree in secondary education and history. I have also earned a master's degree in special education from Washington State University ('16). Go Eags and Cougs!
In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I am an assistant baseball coach at RHS. The 2025 season will mark my 21st year coaching high school baseball.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family/friends, especially my wife and son, traveling, attending concerts, camping, and watching sports particularly New York Mets baseball and Chicago Bears football.
