Wellness Beyond High School is a course for students who want to explore the unique health and lifestyle issues that arise after graduation from high school. This course will look at the challenges of young adulthood and the decisions that impact health and well-being.
It will emphasize the information and skills necessary to adjust to life away from home, with a strong focus on campus life and maintaining wellness. Decisions regarding safety, nutrition, budgeting, sexuality, substance abuse, and interpersonal relationships will be examined as well as their impact upon health and personal goals.
This course fulfills the senior Health graduation requirement.

Personal Finance provides students with essential personal financial planning and management techniques. Students will develop essential money management skills, prepare for life beyond high school, and gain the confidence they need for personal and financial success.
Students will engage in interactive online simulations in both budgeting and investing. Students will construct an interactive personal budget model using spreadsheet software. Investment strategies, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds and index funds will be a highlight of this course.
This course fulfills the Personal Finance graduation requirement.

American Government and Politics is designed to prepare students to become responsible, well-informed, and active citizens in the American democratic republic. Students will study the rights, responsibilities, and roles of citizenship, as well as the functions, responsibilities, and benefits of constitutional government at the local, state, and national levels.
Students will have the opportunity to understand how citizens and government interact while examining current political problems and possible solutions through the policymaking process.
This course fulfills the Government and Politics graduation requirement.
