BEST BUDDIES
We're excited to continue our Best Buddies program this summer!
The Best Buddies program is a no-cost ONE-week FULL-day opportunity for students to engage and play with peers who receive social skills service from their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
The goal of the program is to promote social skills development, build understanding, appreciate neurodiverse learning, and make new friends. Program activities may include sports, games, arts and crafts, music, dance, swimming, community trips, and other special events.
Program Dates and Hours:
Monday, July 21st to Friday, July 25th
Grades K-4 - 9am to 3pm; Grades 5-12 - 7:45am-1:45pm
Locations:
Grades K-4 - BMES; Grades 5-12 - SRMS
Cost:
Free!
Applications will be reviewed for matches with students who have been recommended through their Individualized Education Programs (IEP), and will be determined by similarity in age/grade, gender, and school, when possible/appropriate. Students of any grade level PK-12 may apply.
Space is limited.
Please complete one form per child.
