Projects

Since the founding and implementation of the Ridgefield Robotics Club, we have had our hand in numerous projects. Many of these projects help both our school and community and we are so happy to share them with everyone.

VEX Robotics COMPETITION

The RIdgefield Robotics Club competes in the VEX Robotics Competition. Each year the game is completely different, posing new challenges in robot design and strategy. Our club fields multiple robots, each designed, built and programmed by a small group of students. No experience required, come and learn! To learn more about this year's game visit the VEX Robotics Competition Website. You can also visit the VEX Competition tab to see how Ridgefield Robotics takes on this challenge.

Community outreach

The Ridgefield Robotics Club prides itself on creating a culture of giving back. We endeavours to promote the virtues of science and technology to the community and give back by sharing what we have learned and inspiring the next generation to engage in science and technology. We have appeared at public events such as the local Holiday Stroll, and Connecticut Maker Faire

School Community

Ridgefield Robotics prides itself on reaching out to other departments in the high school to collaborate on projects such as art robots, event greeter robots, and robots that have appeared in school plays. We have also taken part in other RPS STEM events such as BES Take Apart Night.
