Thank you to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and energy this summer to improving our trail network.
Over the past few months, volunteers have spread fresh stone dust to improve trail surfaces, cleared brush to keep pathways open and accessible and installed larger, more visible trail markers for easier navigation. These improvements make the trails safer, more welcoming, and more enjoyable for everyone in our community. And the work isn’t done—official signage is on the way soon to make the experience even better.
We’re grateful for the support, teamwork, and Bobcat pride that our volunteers brought to this project. Thanks for helping us keep the trails a place for everyone to explore and enjoy!
On May 2nd, Richmond 8th graders and community volunteers rolled up their sleeves for the annual United Way Day of Caring! They hauled lumber, cleared out old bridge remnants, and built two brand-new sturdy bridges on the trails. Come over to the trails to admire the results of their hard work!
