The mission of the Westwood High School Counseling program, in partnership with educators, parents/guardians, and community stakeholders is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program that addresses the academic, social, emotional, and career development of all students and ensures that they are self-motivated, life-long learners who are college and career ready.
The Westwood High School Counseling program strives to provide a comprehensive developmental program that meets and encourages the resilience, integrity, scholarship, and engagement of our students. It is our goal to provide a maximal educational experience, enhance the development of human potential, close the achievement gap, while maximizing all student gifts and talents as they pursue their chosen pathway.
