Prom 2019

On November 26, Ridge View High School´s junior class announced the 2019 prom theme will be The Golden Age of Hollywood.

Prom tickets are currently being sold in the main hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch. Mrs. Walker will also be selling tickets in A-13 before and after school. Prices start at $25, but will rise each month. Only juniors and seniors are able to purchase tickets.

The location of Prom is R2I2.

Winter Wishes 2018

Winter Wishes began November 5th and will continue until the Winter Wishes Assembly on December 12, 2018. Winter Wishes is a tradition for Ridge View High School (RVHS) and occurs every year. Composed of multiple non-profitable charities that RVHS encourages students and faculty and staff to participate in donating.

November 15, was the giving bowl, a teacher versus teacher soup competition held to raise money for Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services (PAALS). The organization is founded for helping animals in need. The proceeds came from the cost of tickets purchased join in on the festivities of indulging in the soups and desserts. Students are encouraged to donate canned goods and non perishable food items in partnership with Harvest Hope Food Bank. The goal is 10,000 cans, and in order to increase morale, detention hours are removed for the amount of cans bought in. Cans can be donated up until December 7, 2018.

The class of 2019, is hosting a toiletry supply drive for Sistercare to the goal of 600 toiletries and the collection will be held December 5. The Foster Child Party will also commence the same day. Ridge View’s goal is to sponsor 75 children and provide them with gifts.

The Winter Wishes assembly theme of ¨Retro Holidaze¨ will announce all the donations made and the money will be handed to foundations during the assembly.
