Course Description: This course explores the craft and techniques of filmmaking. Students will analyze the structure of movies utilizing media literacy techniques. They will identify camera angles, shots, editing techniques and the power of each to clarify a story, manipulate the audience, or relate a concept. Students will investigate the use of media as a tool for manipulation and research media literacy. Students will also create storyboards, charts and narrative diagrams in order to create videos that are edited in camera and edited using the program imovie.
