Art IV - Honors

Art IV is an advanced honors studio course open to students in grades 10-12 that have successfully completed Art I, Art II, and Drawing (Art III). 

The South Carolina Visual and Performing Arts Curriculum Standards serve as the goals for this course. Projects, using a variety of painting materials, techniques, and subject matter will be assigned to help the student develop skills in specific processes of painting and printmaking. 

The class will focus on advanced art methods, critical thinking and problem solving skills are developed using critiques and evaluations in written and oral form.
