Course Description

Precalculus is a course of mathematical studies that contains an in-depth study of functions, patterns, relations, and advanced trigonometry topics. Students will be exposed to different scientific ideas that relate to precalculus topics in general. The graphical calculator will serve as an exploration tool to discover mathematical principles. Students will study the following functions: polynomial, rational, exponential/logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. This course will highly motivate each student through the teaching of algebra in a very unique way that will address all different learners. This course is designed to prepare students for Calculus College Prep.
