Application Information

In lieu of a formal application, Highly-motivated students interested in joining Honors Forum are asked to instead complete a commitment form and successfully register for the required Honors Forum Courses.

• Concurrent registration in a minimum of 2 Honors/AP level courses (See guidance)

• Juniors are strongly recommended to enroll in AP Seminar. Please email Mr. Kelly with any scheduling issues as soon as possible!

• Complete the attached commitment form to secure their spot in Honors Forum. 

We are looking for students who are already challenging themselves with the most rigorous coursework offered at their respective schools and who are achieving at the highest levels on standardized tests.  We find that students who exhibit these characteristics are most likely to be successful in the intellectually demanding environment of Honors and Advanced Placement courses at Blythewood High School.

At this time, all Honors Forum candidates, entering either as freshmen or new to the school, must complete this commitment form to gain acceptance into the Honors Forum.  

*Important:  Please verify with the district that you are zoned to attend BHS before applying to the Honors Forum.  You must be an incoming or current BHS student to apply for the Honors Forum.
