Arrangements for Challoner Day – Friday 18th September 2026
All students have been allocated to a place of departure. This can be found on BromCom.
Links to the specific information for each departure point can be found below
Departure point allocation:
Allocations were made based on a survey all students completed before the summer holidays (all students have been allocated to their 1st or 2nd choice).
This year, no students in years 7 to 11 will be allowed to make their own way.
We have allocated over 1000 students across 11 departure points, as a result some older students have been asked to travel to a station that might not be the closest to them.
The specific details for each departure point can be found at the end of this letter.
Important things to remember:
Please arrive in time at your departure point and you MUST travel back by the same way.
While travelling you MUST stay with the member of staff you register with.
Any student allocated to make their own way – who does not register with the allotted staff member in time will be marked as absent.
You need to bring a light snack in a small bag and a water bottle (not plastic bag) – this is to be eaten after Mass.
We advise you to have breakfast before arriving at your departure point.
If you who require medication:
for travel sickness should consider the use of such medication in the morning.
If you require any other regular or emergency medication through the day you must bring it with you.
You may bring a mobile phone on this day, PROVIDING it be switched off until you have been dismissed at the end of the day.
If the weather looks unsettled please bring an umbrella or wet weather coat
