Mentoring Guidelines

Over the years, I have developed some guidelines for writing letters of recommendation and being a doctoral supervisor or Phd committee member

I will only agree to be on someone's committee or advisor if they have taken a class with me
I will only write letters of recommendation for people who have received a grade from me
I will only read TWO drafts of a grant proposal or a thesis chapter
