DESCRIPTION

Automatic nut packing machine by using PLC and pneumatic equipment:

Machine designed to perform work of packing nuts of 15 grams automatically, by means of a button in which the user asks the machine to deliver the requested product, it begins with the hopper process in which 3 different types of nuts are mixed, they are deposited in bags of which they will be filled in an estimated time, and then through the use of servo motors that mobilize the bags to seal each one by heat, and then cut by a blade in the newly sealed part, freely passing the package corresponding to a band in which it is delivered to the user, respecting the biosecurity rules of handling objects of edible biological origin.

Through the use of pneumatic solenoid valves and cylinders of simple action, for sealing and cutting, human intervention in the filling process is reduced to the addition of product to the hopper, avoiding contact to a minimum with the person consuming the product.

FUNCIONALITY

Operation of the machine: The machine is designed to mix 3 types of nuts, be packaged and delivered in the shortest time (4 seconds counting filling, sealing, cutting and delivery in band) to the consumer, given by certain steps controlled by an Intelligent Logic Module (Siemens, Zelio).

1. First step: The nuts are placed in the hopper which is a motor that mixes the different types of products to be transported to the empty bags

2. Second step: The start button must be activated so that the machine starts the packing process in which the bags are filled for 2 seconds, and then sealed by pressure by 2 cylinders that limit each bag with each other.

3. Third step: Using two pairs of bearings are transported from the filling area (sealing) to the cutting area where bag A (previously filled) will be separated from bag B (after the previous one).

4. Fourth step: The freshly cut bag falls on a belt that transports it to the person who activated the packaging process, the activation of the machine will offer an individual package of nuts, if the person needs another package he must activate the start button as many times as necessary until his order is supplied.
